October is National Fire Prevention Month

National Fire Prevention Month is celebrated every October to raise awareness on the importance of fire safety. The month-long event promotes life-saving practices and home fire safety education.

On October 27, the La Conner Volunteer Firefighters arrive at La Conner Elementary in their big red fire engine from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and will present an exciting day of fire-safety educational training in their authentic firefighting gear. Until then, click here to download a coloring page of what the La Conner Volunteer firefighters use to protect themselves during a fire!
